15.3hh Dark Bay Stock Horse Gelding For Sale in BRAY PARK, Queensland for sale

I have an 18 year old 15.3hh dark bay stock horse gelding for sale. According to his original owner he was born and bred on a mustering station in WA and has done a lot of work. He has both number and lazy western brands on him. She could ride him in a saddle with just a rope around his neck. Slide stops,neck reins, side passes you name it and he did it. Was a push button horse. Then I had to go and fall off him!!! I am a beginner rider and not a very good one. I didn't know how to ask him to do all the stuff he knows and still don't. So he was not ridden for 8 months and went to waste. In my stupidity I decided I was well enough to hop on again. It ended in me being bucked off with all the grace of an elephant!!! I've left him too long as a gentleman of leisure and have no idea what I'm doing. Although I'm sure he has my measure now after a few attempts of trying to ride him. I'm sure all I'm doing is teaching him to buck so I give up. He needs an EXPERIENCED rider who can be FIRM to get him back into work. I'm too soft and too new to this. He is extremely quiet and respectful on the ground. Great for farriers, worming, grooming, rugging, saddling and bridling. I have no idea how he floats having never needed to. He has become nervous and BORED. He's never once bitten or kicked. He's a great doer for his size and has nice HARD hooves. Beautiful dappling coming through and clean legs. All vet checks are welcome and a horsey knowledgable home is an absolute must. He is being so wasted here and I can't afford to send him anywhere for training to get him back in the groove of things. So no time wasters, leases or tyre kickers thanks. Only experienced riders please. Colonel Will only be sold to the best of homes. He is a very talented and educated good horse with a very untalented, uneducated and too soft owner who hasn't ridden him for ages. So come and meet Colonel. He is what he is at the moment.
